  1.  Accounting - 

  2. Bottle refund check for $8,000.00

  3. Fair Share Invoices for winter will be going out sometime this week. 

  4. Credit information for pies and ad sales should be updated soon. 


  1. Fundraising

  2. Can drive this Saturday 12/14. Followed by January 11, February 8, March15, April 19 and May 3. 

  3. Jazz Auction - April 26th Tickets go on sale the beginning of January,early bird special Jan - March cost will be $55.00 per ticket. Then up to $60.00 per ticket until 2 days prior to the event and at the door $65.00 per ticket. We can house up to 120 people. Our goal is 100. 

New Orleans style called Jags and Jazz. Started a list of vendors and starting in January we will be reaching out to them for donations. We currently have 3 volunteers and would love more. If you’d like to join the Jazz Auction team please contact Christina at fundraising@centuryband.org. It is easy to do. All on-line. 

  • Bandwidth run tentatively scheduled for May 17th. 5K  and a 1 mile fun run or walk or skip or whatever makes your heart happy. We have different types of music playing along the route. 

  • One More Time Around Band - they want to come out and do another big event with us. Tentatively scheduled for May 30. We want to try to break the world record for most people playing Louie Louie at one time. Trying to get social media, TV and stuff like that to the event. 

  • Flower sale in the spring. No date yet. 

  • When we did the showcase Burgerville was our fundraiser and we earned $363 for that.

  2. Clara Salter - Girl Scout Silver Award Project- Great progress!

  3. George Cartales’ vendor- Rob from RC Display Vans will be getting started on work this month:

  4. Securing E-track hardware on walls and donating shelving for our project

  5. Expected completion ~mid January (before Winter Competitions!)

  6. Board contributing $600 for implementation/improvements

  7. Possible expense of wheels, new grill top

  8. Working on donations first and then priority list with chefs for additional items and/or “Band Registry” style list

  9. Semi skirting

  10. New Google Form went out last week for November Volunteer Hours-

  12. 5 more families completed 16 hour minimum- please continue to turn in your hours!

  13. 4182.55 total hours so far this season (recorded)

  14. Please reach out with any questions as we can double check data entries 

  15. Sign-ups for:

  16. Intel, Nike and US Bank matching for volunteer hours coming due for the end of the year. 

  17. Winter Percussion Prop Building- French Kitchen is OPEN class theme- Prop Sessions are Mondays & Wednesdays during practice

  18. No props needed for Percussion A Class

  19. Jingle Bell Walk Student Fundraiser for points- Friday, Dec. 13 from  4:30-8PM. Chaperone(s)/Helpers to walk with groups of students playing Jingle Bells- Donations split with CHS Coin Drive to Elks

  20. Can Drive Dec. 14 from 9 AM-1PM- Need 8 parent volunteers/drivers

Student Fundraiser point available.Working on training younger students  in roles.

  • All Night Party Friday 12/20 starts at 7:30 PM goes to 6 AM ~8 Chaperones per shift throughout the night- Special THANK YOU late night/early morning volunteers!  Student Leadership organizing activities and food.

WinterGuard Meeting is WEDNESDAY 7pm at Century for varsity and 8:30 pm @ Brown for JV Budget

Cris Travis leading the Winterguard group (with Lana’s team) Generally   done all together for both teams.

  • Winter Concert Performance time 12/17 @ 7PM

  • PEP Band Dates will be out soon - Sign Ups for students to complete a set number of   games Jan/Feb

  • CHOMP Concert is Jan. 23rd at 8PM


  1. Uniform and Apparel  

  2. Measuring students in Winter Percussion for costume. 

  3. Concert with formal wear next week. Not ordering anymore formal wear as there isn’t enough time to receive them. 

  4. Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Ensemble it is the bow tie and ideally a tux shirt. 


Mr. Dunlop  

  1. Everybody performs in the Concerts, both Jazz Bands, Concert Band, Symphonic Band. Wind ensemble, and Percussion Class. All students must attend. They may be subbing in a group or they may be helping run the concert. 

  2. Tuesday during school (Advisory class) at 11:30am a concert for those who want to attend. Parents are welcome to attend and must check in through the front office. 

  3. Open Guard is doing something not done before in the NW. As you see pieces of this please do not share with any other school. This is highly confidential until it has been seen by the public. We ask that you do not share.
