Fundraising
Century Band Boosters provides leadership and opportunity to support CHSMB members in fundraisers that both students and parents may choose to participate in. There are two types of fundraisers: individual and band (depending on who receives the profit from the fundraising). When students participate in fundraisers for the band, they earn student fundraising points and rewards based on the points they earn.
Band Fundraisers (the majority of our events) benefit the marching band as a whole (100% of the $ raised goes to the band). These opportunities are tied to student fundraiser points.
Individual Student money makers benefit the individual student mostly (80% of the $ raised), and the marching band (20% of $ raised). Working at the Hops games provides 100% to the students.
Each student is expected to participate in our band fundraisers to earn fundraiser points. Students have the opportunity to earn up to 16+ points. The number of points is tied to rewards earned. Students receive 1 point for 1 shift (example: participation at the entire can drive 9AM - 1PM = 1 fundraising point)

Individual Fundraisers
Specific details will be announced by the secretary for each fundraiser.
Willamette Valley Pie Fundraiser
We partner with Willamette Valley Pies for a student fundraiser in Fall. This fundraiser is local only as the pies are delivered frozen and must be properly stored or distributed promptly. Students earn 80% of the profits from the pie sales or about $4-8 per pie sold depending on the pie.
See's Candy
See's Candy is a new fundraiser this year, happening this fall. Each student will have their own unique storefront URL to share, and sales must be made through that URL for the student to receive a profit credit. This is a great fundraiser for family and friends who are not local, since See's handles all the shipping. Students earn $0.50-$24 profit per item sold!
Hops Concessions
Work concessions at the Hillsboro Hops games throughout the summer to earn money for your band account. You earn an hourly wage plus tips and this is by far the easiest way to earn your fees for the year. More info here.
